Nesnáším švagrovou a manžel ji k nám pozval na Vánoce

Milé ženy, potřebuju se vypovídat, protože vzteky téměř nevidím. Můj muž mi řekl, že jsem hysterka a moc to hrotím a vůbec nechápe, že on udělal něco, co se prostě nedělá. Bez jakékoli předchozí domluvy se mnou pozval k nám na Štědrý den a první svátek svou sestru s dětmi. Přitom moc dobře ví, že my dvě se opravdu nemusíme.
Nám s mužem je přes čtyřicet, už máme blíž k padesátce. Máme dceru, která už žije sama, respektive s přítelem a letos poprvé nebude na Vánoce s námi, odlétají na dovolenou, kterou si záměrně v tomto období vybrali. Měli jsme tedy být s mužem sami dva. Bereme to v pohodě, je nám jasné, že jednou to přijít muselo a dcera si bude žít svůj život. Docela jsem se začala i těšit, že budeme na Vánoce sami dva a plánovala jsem si, že si je tentokrát užiju trochu jinak, víc v pohodě.
Manžel mi ale udělala pořádnou čáru přes rozpočet. Předevčírem mi oznámil, že k nám na Štědrý den a první svátek pozval svou sestru s dětmi a očekával, že to bez výhrad pochopím. V létě od ní totiž odešel její muž a jsou teď v rozvodovém řízení. Ona je z toho dost na dně, to je pravda. Zůstala sama se dvěma dětmi, šestnáctiletou dcerou a čtrnáctiletým synem.
Já se s ní moc nemusím, jsme každá jiná a vztahy mezi námi dvěma jsou spíš korektní, rozhodně nejsou nějak vřelé. Ona je na můj vkus moc upovídaná, řeší jen samé klepy a nesmysly, když mluví, je jako kulomet, nikoho nepustí ke slovu a jen mele a mele. Opravdu mi stačí vidět ji jednou za čas na dvě, tři hodinky. Její děti jsou teď navíc obě v pubertě a chovají se příšerně, neustále jí odsekávají, pořád mají nafučené obličeje, což samozřejmě k tomuto období patří, ale proč bych se na ně měla zrovna o Vánocích dívat, že?
Když mi to manžel oznámil, myslela jsem, že špatně slyším a zeptala se ho, jak vůbec mohl něco takového slibovat bez předchozí domluvy se mnou, jestli mu připadá fér postavit mě takhle před hotovou věc. On na mě koukal jako na blázna, co mi prý tak strašně vadí, je to jeho sestra, je v těžké situaci a připadal by si jako vyvrhel, kdyby ji teď nechal o Vánocích samotnou. K rodičům ona jít nechce, protože je s nimi rozhádaná.
Řekla jsem mu, že jsem o letošních Vánocích měla jinou představu, že jsem si plánovala užít si je více v klidu a těšila se, že si spolu třeba někam vyjdeme, udělám jen trochu salátu, cukroví napeču jen tak na provonění bytu a aby bylo co dát na stůl. A teď, když on zařídil, že u nás budou další tři lidi, to pro mě znamená totálně opustit svou představu, všechno připravit jako pro regiment, nachystat jim spaní, postele, nakoupit, aby bylo všeho dost a Štědrý den a první svátek strávit tím, že budu jako hostitelka kolem všech tancovat.
Muž mi na to řekl, že jsem sobecká a bezcitná, že rodina je od toho, aby si v případě nouze pomáhala a jeho sestra je momentálně v psychické nouzi a já se chovám jako nějak necitlivá harpyje a myslím, jen na sebe a své pohodlí. A že to snad není nic tak strašného, že sestra mi může v kuchyni pomoct a děti už nejsou malé a budou beztak zalezlé někde na mobilech.
No a já jsem vybouchla, protože mě strašně naštvalo, jak zlehčuje tu práci, kterou bych s tím měla a zcela vážně jsem mu řekla, že tedy dobře, pokud chce strávit Vánoce se svou sestrou a jejími dětmi, tak prosím, já mu v tom bránit nebudu, ale já v tom případě budu na Štědrý den a první svátek a svých rodičů. A on ať si ty Vánoce, když je to taková brnkačka a žádný problém, kompletně nachystá pro svou ségru včetně napečeného cukroví, nákupu, salátu, povlečení postelí atd. atd. Domluvil si to s ní bez mého vědomí, tak ať si to tedy bez mé přítomnosti dotáhne až do konce sám.
Zůstal jako opařený, s tím nepočítal, to je jasné. On si chtěl zahrát na hodného bratříčka zachránce, ale oddřít bych to měla já. Pokusil se na mě ještě zaútočit s tím, že jsem sobec největší, ale já se nedala a zopakovala jsem mu, že pokud mi do týdne neoznámí, že sestra nepřijede, beru to tak, že na Vánoce odcházím a veškeré vánoční přípravy budou soustředit v domácnosti svých rodičů. Doma nehnu ani prstem a očekávám, že až se vrátím, bude uklizeno, vyprané povlečení a všechno v pořádku.
Máme tichou domácnost, on je uražený, já naštvaná. Nicméně jsem odhodlaná svou výhružku splnit a dotáhnout do konce. Ale tak trochu se přiznám, že malinký červíček, zda opravdu nejsem přehnaně sobecká a radikální, ve mně přeci jenom je.
